Barmer

The headquarters of the Barmer district in Rajasthan, Barmer is famous for its carved wooden furniture, hand block printing and woolenindustries and oil. Located in the western part of the state forming a part of the Thar Desert, Barmer is the second largest district of Rajasthan. Ruins of three 13th century Jain temples are located in this town.
