About Basar


Basar is a small town in the Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh. It has been categorized as a census town. It is located on the banks of the river Godavari. It is renowned for the Saraswathi Temple there as it is one of the very few temples dedicated to the Goddess Saraswathi in South India. It is a part of a very fertile region since it is on the banks of a river. It comes under the Telangana region.
