Bhilwara

Bhilwara is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. The city comes under the Mewar region of the state and also happens to be the district capital. It is said that Arjuna, one of the Pandavs, passed with his gopis while heading to Dwarika during the Mahabharata-era. The major urban agglomerations of Ajmer and Udaipur are at distances of 134 and 169 km respectively.

Siwan is a small town and an important district in the state of Bihar. Siwan was known after Ali Bux as Aliganj Sawan. In pre-Independence India, Siwan was the northern border town in India sharing its borders with Nepal. Hence the name Siwan, which means border in Bhojpuri. There is also a belief that the name ‘Siwan’ is derived from ‘Shiva Man’. Jeeradei town of Siwan district gave India its first President- Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
