About Bidar

Bidar

Dubbed as the "Crown City of Karnataka", Bidar got its name from the word, Bidiru which means bamboo. Bidar is famous for its fort by the same name, which is inspired by Persian architecture. Besides the fort, this ancient city is also home to several other historical monuments and architecture dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries.
