About Bishangarh


Bishangarh is a small village in Rajasthan, 170 km away from the famous hill station of Mount Abu. The village is in the midst of a triangle formed by – Jodhpur, Mount Abu and Barmer. The surroundings of the village are pretty arid with temperatures soaring up during the day and then subsequently plummeting at night.

Being close to the tourist hub of Mount Abu, the place is abundant with hotels and lodges. There are several places of tourist attraction. Some of the interesting places include Mount Abu, Chandrawati (162 km away from the village) – the town which witnessed many pitched battles between conquering Muslim armies and local rulers, Mungathala village with its famous Saiva temple and Jirawala village with its famous Parsvanatha temple (45km away from Abu Road) built in 1134 AD.
