About Brahmavara

Brahmavara

Brahmavar is a town in the Udupi district of the South Indian state of Karnataka. Being close to Barkur, the area is considered to be a cultural centre in the region. It is often referred to as lord Brahma’s Vara or Ajapura. The district headquarter, Udupi, lies at a distance of 12 km away from the village.
