About Calicut


Calicut which is also known as  Kozhikode is the third largest city that belongs to the state of  Kerala. It is situated on the Malabar Coast. The city is also being referred as "City of Sculptures" for there are many ancient architectural sculptures seen in different parts of this city.  According to history, this city was once a powerful trading centre for Arabs, Chinese and East African traders during the 12 century. Calicut International Airport is situated at at Karipur in Malappuram. It is about 26 kms away from the city.

About Pamba


Pamba is a village in the Ranni taluk in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. It is located 12 kms towards north from the district head quarters Pathanamthitta and 116 kms from state capital Thiruvananthapuram.  Pamba is the main halting point for the pilgrims on their way to Sabarimala. It gets its name from the Pamba River. This place is also called Thriveni Sangam as it is the meeting point of three rivers.
