About Calicut


Calicut which is also known as  Kozhikode is the third largest city that belongs to the state of  Kerala. It is situated on the Malabar Coast. About Sabarimalai


It is the largest pilgrimage centre in the world situated in a forest reserve that has 45-50 million devotees visiting every year. Sabarimala is a famous hill temple of Lord Ayyappa located in district Pathanamthitta of Kerala. Sabarimala gained immense repute when Hindu god Ayyappan successfully killed the Mahishi demoness. What subsequently came up was the Ayyappan Temple surrounded by 18 hills. Strictly for men devotees, the Sabarimala pilgrimage period starts mid-November and lasts till mid-January every year.
