Chaphal is a small village in the westernmost Indian state of Maharashtra. The Chandoli National Park and the Shivajisagar Lake are located at distances of 71 km and 93 km respectively. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Kolhapur at a distance of 92 km south of the village.
