Chatrai is a town that is located in the Chatrai mandal of the Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for the ancient temple of Sivalayam. Nuzvid, Arugolanu Peta, Eluru, Janardhanavaram, Vijayawada and Chanubanda are some of the cities and villages that lie near Chatrai. It is bound by the mandals of Vissannapet, Lingapalem , Chintalapudi and Reddigudem. It lies on the border of the Krishna and the western- Godavari districts.
