Chinchwad, also known as Pimpri Chinchwad, is an area of the IT hub of Pune, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a part of the Pune Metropolitan Area and is made up of the twin towns – Pimpri and Chinchwad. The centre of Pune is located at a distance of 15 km from the area.
