About Chitradurga

Chitradurga

A town in the southern part of Karnataka, Chitradurgais known as the ‘stone fortress’ because of the bold rock hills, picturesque valleys and huge towering boulders that can be seen in the region. Chitradurga is located at the junction of NH-4 and NH-13. The place is a well-known archaeological site and it has great number of monuments and temples that date back to several centuries.

Sirohi

Sirohi is situated in southern Rajasthan in western India. Sirohi has a chain of 14 Jain temples and is also known as ‘Devnagri’ (land of lords or temple city). Initially, Sirohi was the capital of princely state ruled by Deora Rajput. It has five Tehsils (administrative blocks) – Pindwara, Aburoad, Reodar, Sheogani and Sirohi.

A colourful procession is taken out on this occasion. Gangaur hold a special place for the Garasia tribal, in Siorhi - Mt. Abu region.

Sirohi is known for Sirohi Fort located at the Siranwa Hill. This fort is located on the eastern slope. Kesar Villa Palace an exquisite building located in Sirohi Fort is worth visiting.
