Cuddapah or Kadapa is a city in the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It comes within a district by the same name and is a part of the Rayalseema region. The state capital, Hyderabad, is situated at a distance of 411 km. Another major urban hub of Nellore in the Coastal Andhra region is located at a distance of 179 km. The city is sandwiched between the Lankamalla Reserved Forest and Sri Venkateswara National Park on either side.
