Delhi

Nangal, a town in Punjab, is known for its Bhakra Nangal Dam on river Satluj. Situated on the foothills of Shiwalik, this town is a part of Rupnagar district. It came to be known by its name after it obtained the land of Nangal Nikku, Dubbeta and Hambewal. It is about 102 km away from its capital city, Chandigarh.
