Nohar is a city in Rajasthan and is just 9 km from the district capital Hanumangarh. The town generally faces a shortage of rainfall and summers are characterised by sand storms. Nohar is located close to the state of Haryana and therefore the language spoken by the locals is influenced by Haryanvi. The people in this area are influenced by Rajasthani and Punjabi cultures.
