About Dharampur


Dharampur is a small town that is located at the Valsad district of Gujarat. It was created in 1262 and was earlier known as the ‘Mandvengan town’. The town was named ‘Dharampur’ by Dharamdev in 1766. As it is surrounded by the Sahyadri Mountains and is on the banks of the Swargavahini river, this town has a serene and pleasant climate all through the year. Today, Dharampur is the home to the international headquarters of Shrimadh Rajchandra Mission.

About Sirohi


Sirohi is situated in southern Rajasthan in western India. Sirohi has a chain of 14 Jain temples and is also known as ‘Devnagri’ (land of lords or temple city). Initially, Sirohi was the capital of princely state ruled by Deora Rajput. It has five Tehsils (administrative blocks) – Pindwara, Aburoad, Reodar, Sheogani and Sirohi.

A colourful procession is taken out on this occasion. Gangaur hold a special place for the Garasia tribal, in Siorhi - Mt. Abu region.

Sirohi is known for Sirohi Fort located at the Siranwa Hill. This fort is located on the eastern slope. Kesar Villa Palace an exquisite building located in Sirohi Fort is worth visiting. Sirohi is a significant place in Jain pilgrimage. Ajari, Basanth Garh, Varman, Ambeshwar Ji Temple, Jirawal Temple, Karodidhwaj Temple are few of such temples.
