Dharva

Dharva is a small village in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, which lies at a distance of 32 km north-west. Those seeking to ride in to Nepal from Varanasi may stop by in the village for refreshments. Other major urban areas nearby are Ayodhya and Varanasi at the distances of 124 and 191 km respectively.

The city has one of the busiest bus depots in the region with services connecting to almost all district headquarters. Mostly state-run UPSRTC buses serve the local populace here. Buses for the village are available from Gorakhpur. If you are travelling long distance by a Volvo bus you will have a comfortable journey with ample leg space.

Apart from the pristine beauty of the surrounding area, there are many places one can visit in Songadh like the Shri Sai Baba Temple, the Vrajeshwar Mahadev Temple, and the Songadh Fort. The Ukai Dam is around 11 km away.

The nearest airport to Songadh is in Surat around 95 km away.

Rail:
Songadh has its own railway station. One can always check IRCTC for the same.

Bus:
There are several local and private company that run regular buses here. Operators such as Shubham Travels (Tariff-Rs.300 onwards) and Hari Hara Travels offer good and reliable bus services. The town is well connected to the major parts of India. Avoid standing in queues in bus counters and go for online bus ticket booking facility instead.
