Dharva

Dharva is a small village in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, which lies at a distance of 32 km north-west. Those seeking to ride in to Nepal from Varanasi may stop by in the village for refreshments. Other major urban areas nearby are Ayodhya and Varanasi at the distances of 124 and 191 km respectively.

The city has one of the busiest bus depots in the region with services connecting to almost all district headquarters. Mostly state-run UPSRTC buses serve the local populace here. Buses for the village are available from Gorakhpur. If you are travelling long distance by a Volvo bus you will have a comfortable journey with ample leg space.

Washim

A city and a municipal council in the Washim district of Maharashtra, Washim is about 200 km from Aurangabad. The name Washim is derived from Basim, which means ‘the one that smiles’ in Arabic. Washim is famous as a pilgrimage hub and has many ancient temples like Balaji Mandir, Padma Teertha and Pohara Devi temple. It is said that Rishi Vatsa performed a yagna (holy ritual) in Washim for forgiveness from the gods and he was blessed, hence Washim is also mentioned in scriptures as Vatsagulma.

The nearest airport to Washim is at Nanded, located about 106 km from the town. The second nearest option is Aurangabad airport which is 200 km away. 

Rail: 

Washim’s railway station is well connected to cities like Jaipur, Mumbai. Trains such as Kacheguda, Nanded Express and Hyderabad Deccan pass through Washim.

Bus: 

There are daily bus services to Pune, Nashik, Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Aurangabad.
