About Dudu

Dudu

Doodhu is a small village in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. It comes within the Barmer district. The district headquarters, Barmer, lies at a distance of 59 km north of the village. The state capital of Jaipur lies at a distance of 573 km north-east of the village. It lies within the Thar desert region, with the Pakistan border being just 139 km (two and half hours’ drive) away.

There are no places to put up for the night in the village. One has to travel to Barmer (103 km away) for lodging. There are a couple of good budget hotels in the city. Kherwara Chhaoni is a town in Udaipur, Rajasthan whose name originates from a type of tree called Kher, which is found in abundance here.
