Dwarka is a town at the tip of the westernmost Indian state of Gujarat. It is one of the most important sites of Hindu pilgrimage and was a part of the Dwaraka kingdom, ruled over by lord Krishna. The town is coastal in terms of geography and comes within the Devbhoomi Dwarka district in the Kathiawar peninsula.
