About Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar was named after Mahatma Gandhi because the city was constructed on the principles of Gandhi. It is Gujarat, India and is the capital of the state. It was part of the Ahmedabad district until the late 1960s.This city is divided into 30 separate sectors and was formed by roads that were laid in a rectangular grid.
