Ganganagar, also known as Sri Ganganagar, is a town in the northern side of Rajasthan. The place is named after Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner who designed the irrigation structure for the town by channelising River Satluj through canals. Bahadurgarh is a suburb of Delhi in the North Indian state of Haryana. It is located in the Jhajjar district and constitutes a part of the collection of suburbs around Delhi, known as the National Capital Region or NCR. The Delhi border is at a distance of 2 km. It is said that the city was founded by the Mughal king Alamgir II. Later the Baloch kings who received the land from the Mughals named it Bahadurgarh from Sharafabad in 1754.
