Gudavalli is a village 108 km to the east of Guntur city in Andhra Pradesh. This place is a home for freedom fighters and boasts of an age old temple dedicated to the god Laxmi Narasimha. The major urban agglomeration close by is the city of Vijayawada at a distance of 65 km north across the Krishna river.
