About Gundugolanu

Gundugolanu

Gundugolanu comes under the Bhimadole Mandal in the West Godavari District and belongs to the Andhra region. It is 19 km from Eluru and 351 km from Hyderabad. It was founded by Dr. Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya, a well-known freedom fighter, who also founded the Andhra Bank. Gundugolanu is known to grow rice. Total area covered by the village is 1430 hectares.
