About Haveri

Haveri

A town in Karnataka, Haveri is well-known for cardamom garlands and Byadagi red chillies that are marketed all over the country. Haveri is slowly gaining popularity as a major tourist spot as it is surrounded by places that have historical temples. While the town is believed to have had about 100 Maths (sacred religious places), only a few remain today. The famous Hukkeri Math is in Haveri.
