Honnali

A town in Karnataka’s Devanagere District, Honnali is renowned for its Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. In Kannada, Honnali implies ‘gold’ and according to the legend during the Vijayanagara era, the streets were full of people selling gold. Its nearby cities are Shikarpur (36 km), Shimoga (40 km), and Ranibennur (47 km).
