Hosanagara

Hosanagara, known for its dense forest, is a town in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Hosanagara meaning “new town”, played host to the World Cattle Conference in April 2007. It is home to some of the finest tourist destinations like the Ramachandrapura Mutt and Kodachadri Hills, which is 4,411 feet above sea level.
