About Kasibugga


Kasibugga, better known as Palasa Kasibugga is a twin town situated in the district of Srikakulam in the state of Andhra Pradesh, South India. It is a hub of cashew processing industries employing more than 15,000 people. These twin towns have a common railway station which though named ‘Palasa’ is actually situated in Kasibugga. The meaning of ‘Kasibugga’ is eternal spring water. Mythology states that the waters of the holy Ganges flow beneath the soil of the place naming it thus. The month of November is the best time to visit Kasibugga.
