Idinthakarai meaning “broken shore” is a coastal village in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli district. Situated about 12 km from Radhapuram, 26 km from Kanyakumari, and 650 km from Chennai, Idinthakarai is also known as Vidinthakarai which means “shore of dawn”.
