Mehkar is a city in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra. It is located at about 70 km from Buldhana and 140 km from Aurangabad, and is a part of Vidarbha region. The city was earlier called Meghankar Nagari. It is situated on the banks of the River Penganga. And a lot of recreational activities take place by this river.
