Jagityal is a small municipality in the Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh. It also serves as the administrative headquarters for the district. Jagityal is five hour drive away from Hyderabad. It is an educational hub for students from surrounding agricultural villages and towns. Once ruled by the Nizams of Hyderabad, its influence is still felt in its rich heritage and culture.
