Jaisalmer, named after Maharawal Jaisal Singh is a small town in Rajasthan, and is dubbed ‘The Golden City’. About Ramdevra

Ramdevra

Ramdevra is a small village that is located in the district of Jaisalmer, in Rajasthan. It is around 12 km from Pokhran. This village was named after Bhagvan Ramdevji Maharaj who was a tanwar Rajput and a saint who was considered to be the head of the village at one time. Later, Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner built a temple in honour of the saint in 1931. It is a popular site for pilgrims and is considered to be the symbol of unity and peace.
