About Jalore

Jalore

Jalore is a small municipality in Rajasthan and serves as the administrative headquarters of the Jalore district. It was earlier known as Jabalipura-named after a saint Maharishi Jabali. It is famously known for the Jalore fort, which served as a safe keep for the treasures of its erstwhile rulers. It is also called the granite city of Rajasthan.

This village is situated in Rajasthan’s Barmer district and lies near the bank of River Luni. This district is 89 km from the village and its capital, Jaipur, is 437 km away.
