Kaikaluru

Kaikaluru is also known as Kaikalur. It is a small town in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. It is popular for fishing and is home to Kolleru, one of India's biggest lakes. Kaikaluru is also well-known for its proximity to the village Pulaparru where the biggest Ramalayam temple was built with the donation made by the villagers (up to 1 crore.) Vijayawada is the nearest city to Kaikaluru. The literacy rate here is 66.55%. Students from nearby villages come here to pursue their education.

Kaikaluru does not have an airport of its own. The Vijaywada airport (48 km away) is the nearest airport.
