Kampli

A town in Bellary district of Karnataka, Kampli is situated about 15kms away from the famous world heritage site Hampi. Well-connected by road to Gangavathi and Hospet, this town is an economic hub for villages in the surrounding region. Agriculture is the main source of income in this town and there are about 20 rice mills located here, which makes it a major agricultural and commercial hub in the region. Kampli is famous for the magnificent Kampli fort.
