About Karamsad


A city in the Anand district of Gujarat, Karamsad is 10 km away from Anand and 46 km from Vadodara. Archaeological studies show that Karamsad is as old as 1155 AD and the city has ancient temples and ruins that attract many tourists. Famous freedom fighter and India’s first Home Minister post-Independence, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel was born and raised in Karamsad. His ancestral home in Karamsad is now a memorial and tourist attraction.
