Khaga is located in Fatehpur district in Uttar Pradesh. Khaga is believed to be founded by Khadag Singh of the martial clan named Arakh. In the Vedic times the region around present-day Khaga was known by the name ‘Antardaksh’ meaning ‘the fertile land between big rivers’.
