A village panchayat, Kommuru is located in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It was formerly part of the Nuzvidhu Taluka, but has since been attached to the Aagiripalli Mandal. It was formerly called Rajagopalapuram, after Raja Sobhanadresswara Rao. Kommuru’s main occupation is mango cultivation. Kommuru has a number of places of tourist interest for the eager traveller. Machilipatnam (75 km) is the nearest city to Kommuru.
