Madhubani is a small town in the Madhubani district of the state of Bihar. Darbhanga is just 26 km north-east of Madhubani. It is very close to Nepal and the hilly terrain of Nepal is visible from here. ‘Madhubani’ is combination of two words, ‘Madhu’ and ‘Vaani/Baani’ which mean ‘sweet language/voice.’ The town of Madhubani is known for its historical and archaeological.
