Manapad village is a tiny coastal village in the Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu. The village is believed to be one of the first places where St. Francis Xavier had started propagating Christianity. Tiruchendur (18 km) and the district headquarters in Tuticorin (60 km) are its neighbours. One of the main attractions here is in September when the fragment of the True Cross of Jerusalem is publically displayed.

The village is close to Tuticorin and many people visit the city located 60 km away from. Lady of Snows Basilica in Tuticorin is a beautiful church and besides that, the 1581-made Church of Holy Cross is also a favourite with many tourists.
