Manjeshwar

Manjeshwar falls at the northern side of Kerala. It’s a tiny village in the heart of the Kasargod district and is situated 21 km from Mangalore. The well known Srimad Anantheshwara temple is located here. In 2007, a Tulu academy was set up here by its government. Manjeshwar sees monsoon during June-September, while the spring season arrives here in November and lasts until January. A variety of sea food is available here and is a crucial part of its cuisine.

Kuruvilangad, also called as the Vatican of India, is a town located in Kerala’s Kottayam district. There is a legend that Mother Mary first appeared in Kuruvilangad to a group of shepherds and told them to build a church, which is now, St. Mary’s Forane Church. A spring is also said to have sprouted from this very spot. This town is on the border of Kottayam and Ernakulam.
