Mannar is a small town in Kerala and is located between the cities of Mavelikara and Tiruvalla. Mannar is also popularly known as ‘Bell Metal Town’ and is situated at the banks of the rivers Pampa and Manimala. It is said that the ancestors of the people residing here were brought from the city of Tanjavoor to build Thrikkuratti Mahadevar Temple. The city is known for equipments made out of metals such as Brass and Bronze.
