Mayavaram, also known as Mayiladuthurai, is a town in Tamil Nadu located at a distance of 281 km from the main city of Chennai. The famous Mayuranathaswami Temple situated in Mayiladuthurai town bears a historic significance dating back to the Chola dynasty.
