About Mulki

Mulki

A panchayat town in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, Mulki was earlier known as Moolikapur. Located on the banks of the Shambhavi River, the town is well-connected to neighbouring regions. The National highway  17 (Now NH 66) passes through the heart of Mulki town. The townsfolk are known for their skilled craft and they mostly thrive on agriculture and fishing.

Honnali

A town in Karnataka’s Devanagere District, Honnali is renowned for its Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. In Kannada, Honnali implies ‘gold’ and according to the legend during the Vijayanagara era, the streets were full of people selling gold. Its nearby cities are Shikarpur (36 km), Shimoga (40 km), and Ranibennur (47 km).
