Kalamb

Kalamb, the village of Maharashtra is a major attraction for tourists for its famous Chintamani Temple. The place is situated in Yavatmal District, in Maharashtra. The village was spelled ‘Kalam’ in the seventeenth century and at the time of the Mughal Empire, the place used to be a revenue assessment center. River Chakravarti flows through the village. It is one of the major Ganesh Kshetras among the 21 Kshetras around India.
