Muzaffarnagar is a small city with a municipal board in Uttar Pradesh. It comes under the Muzaffarnagar district and is also the district headquarters. Muzaffarnagar was founded by Munawar Lashkar Ali in honour of his father during the Mughal period. It is often referred to as the ‘Education Hub of India’.
