Mydukur

Mydukur is a mandal in Cuddapah district of Andhra Pradesh. It belongs to Rayalaseema region. It is called the junction of Rayalaseema, since it links the roads connecting the holy cities Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Srisailam and the state capital of Hyderabad. Mydukur was founded due to Madhavaraya Swamy temple. It was earlier called Madhavakuru.Mydukur is located 36 kms towards north from the district head quarters Kadapa and 347 kms from the state capital Hyderabad.
