About Nampally


Nampally is an area of the joint capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Hyderabad. The area is famous for its major railway station as well as the Nampally Exhibition Grounds, playing host to some of the major events in the city. As it is close to the old city of Hyderabad, it is famous for its eateries. Those with a drive for artifacts and cuisine should visit this place.

The nearest major airport is the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad at a distance of 26 km.

One of Hyderabad’s major railway stations is in Nampally itself, called the Nampally Station.

Various state transport buses as well as private buses ply on the roads of the area. APSRTC-run buses are the most popular here. Buses to the area can be found in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and others. has several operators on its site that enables bus booking in India
