About Nanded

Nanded

The headquarters of Nanded district in the Marathwada Division of Maharashtra, Nanded is well-known for Renukadevi Shaktipeetha Temple. Situated on the banks of the River Godavari, Nanded is one of the oldest cities and the second largest city in the region after Aurangabad. Divided in two parts, Nanded City and district is located in the southeastern part of Maharashtra, bordering Andhra Pradhesh.
