About Narayangaon


Narayangaon in Maharashtra’s Pune district lies on the Pune-Nasik Highway. Situated on the banks of Meena river, it is a picturesque town surrounded by the Sahyadri Mountain Range. Narayangaon makes an ideal weekend getaway, as it has several forts, temples and dams worth visiting in and around its vicinity. The best time to visit this town is during the monsoon when the landscape is greener and the dams are full.

The nearest major railhead connecting this place to other cities is the Pune Railway Station, which is 75 km away from the main town.
